Friends of Betts Park
A small public park in Anerley, London SE20 with a free outdoor gym, children's playground, basketball courts, football field and plenty of history, set across 13 acres of the ancient Penge Common.
Betts Park is owned by the London Borough of Bromley. Friends of Betts Park is a community volunteer organisation dedicated to maintaining and improving our local park.
Betts Park was established in 1928 by Frederick Betts, in memory of his mother, as a free and accessible space to be held in perpetuity by the community for recreation and exercise. Friends of Betts Park are local volunteers striving to keep Mr Betts' dream alive by bringing the community of Anerley together and working hard to maintain a healthy and sustainable park that benefits everyone. We hope you’ll join us!
