Landowner and custodian of Betts Park

The London Borough of Bromley is the current legal owner and custodian of the land that constitutes Betts Park. The borough classifies Betts Park as an Urban Open Space, Site of Importance for Nature Conservation, and places it within two Views of Local Importance. The care and attention of the borough and their contractors is paramount to everything achieved in the park.

Protector, supporter and champion for open spaces

Fields in Trust hold "Deeds of Dedication" for Betts Park which protect it in perpetuity from any development or use for commercial purposes. These deeds were created when King George's Fields were added to Betts Park in 1939.
